Accent lighting over kitchen islands that use less energy consuming bulbs rather than incandescent light bulbs are an option that doesn’t compromise the look of the fixture. Dimmer switches are also now utilized to modulate brightness and keep down energy usage. Using dimmers creates the ‘look’ and ambience one desires to affect mood and environment. March 17th, 2010Spring is upon us – we know this because Home Show season has begun! Participating in the Ideal Home & Garden Show this past weekend at the “new” Careport Centre in Hamilton was a blast. Enough can’t be said for the organizers at Continuum Productions as well as the people who attended from Mississauga all the way to Fisherville! A real buzz could be felt all weekend. With over 200 exhibitors, the best BUZZ is Misani Custom Design won Best 10ft Booth for the entire show! I couldn’t wait to get back in the shop and share the trophy with our staff. We take such pride in the quality workmanship of our product which our clients reinforce regularly but it’s always nice to be publicly acknowledged for the work we do! Thanks Dwayne and your staff at Continuum for hosting a great show, we look forward to the Fall Home Show circuit!

March 2nd, 2010February 2010 – Now that the kitchen renovation is completed Jeanne & I feel that we must write and express our thanks properly for a job extremely well done. It has been an extremely enjoyable experience working with you, your staff and contractors. We first met Teresa at the Burlington Home Show and we were impressed by her presentation at that time. This was reinforced when we visited the Misani showroom to discuss the project, when we were given a guided tour of the production facilities. Clearly, a great deal of thought was put into finding the right design for us, which maximized our storage capacity. Everyone who has visited since the completion has been very complimentary about the design and the overall appearance.
The renovation started as promised, an unusual event in this day and age and was completed with as little delay as possible. We were pleased with the flexibility shown by Misani when minor complications resulting from the design were discovered, none of which could have been foreseen.
The contractor you used, Rick Tanner, was very professional and his choice of subcontractors was excellent. The workmanship of those contractors and the cabinet installer could not be faulted.
We believe that the price was very competitive for the quality of the cabinetry and workmanship. We would recommend to anyone that they discuss their kitchen renovation project with Misani before committing to an alternative supplier.
