We get a lot of questions regarding counter tops. Yes, its a big decision — there’s no doubt about it!
Quartz products have been popular for at least 5 years now. Consumers get confused with ‘brands’ of quartz counters. For example — Caesarstone is very popular, Cambria is probably the top end with lovely colour selections but you’re going to pay for it! There are other brands of quartz Hanstone, Silestone…the list goes on.
In this case, we do believe you get what you pay for. Contracting with a good fabricator should not be underestimated either.
Natural stones (granite & marble) are making a resurgence.

Counter tops are sealed upon installation — we have clients tell us they have never had to ‘maintain’ them although its recommended to apply sealant if you see a “work zone” looking a little tired. Its as simple as applying a liquid sealer – wiping it in and wiping it off. Not necessarily the arduous task that some make it out to be.
